How to Measure

The Sticky Tape Method: Place a piece of clear tape over your natural nail. Press it down firmly, making sure it covers the widest part of your nail bed.聽Using a fine marker, draw a precise line on the tape at both edges of your nail (where the nail meets the skin).聽Remove the tape and lay it flat against a ruler. Measure the distance between the two marked lines in millimeters (mm).聽Write down the measurement for each finger.

The Flexible Tape Method: Look at your natural nail and find the widest area of the nail bed (usually right across the middle).聽Hold a flexible measuring tape at the very edge of your nail bed. Pull it across to the opposite edge, making sure the tape follows the natural curve of your nail.聽Note the measurement in millimeters (mm).
